Based on GtkSpell, adapted by The Stuphead Team, then adapted by The Sylpheed Claws Team, and finally adapted to work with aspell/pspell by Melvin Hadasht and contributed to Sylpheed (Claws). In order to make it work, make sure you have pspell >= .12.2 and aspell available from http://pspell.sourceforge.net. Additional libraries can also be retrieved from the same site. 
Back port from sylpheed claws (http://sylpheed-claws.sf.net)

Notes:
Apply with patch -p0 and run autogen.sh with parameter --enable-pspell.
